Sustainable Power & Seamless Design in Multihull Engineering

Aluminium solar arch system – Design, fabrication, and installation by Canet Premium Services + ASM66

Canet Premium Services has been commissioned by two discerning clients, owners of a Bali 5.2 and a Bali 5.8 catamaran, to develop a bespoke solar arch system that delivers high-performance energy production while preserving the aesthetic and ergonomic integrity of the Bali multihull line.

In close collaboration with our engineering partner ASM66, we’re preparing to launch this ambitious and technically advanced project—combining naval architecture, marine-grade aluminium fabrication, and sustainable innovation.

🧩 Project Scope and Technical Highlights

1️⃣ Custom Engineering & Yacht Design

We are currently finalizing the design of a 6.70 m x 7.80 m aluminium solar arch, fully aligned with the flowing lines and styling of the Bali catamaran range. This structural component will serve a dual function—as an elegant protective cover for sun and rain, and as a robust support platform for the solar array.

2️⃣ Autonomy and Solar Power Output

Equipped with 10 high-efficiency solar panels, the arch will generate up to 5,000 watts of clean energy. This upgrade will significantly increase the yacht’s energy independence, ideal for long-range bluewater cruising, liveaboard life, or eco-friendly charter operations.

3️⃣ Modular Fabrication & Marine Finishes

The entire structure will be fabricated in modular sections to simplify transportation and global shipping. A marine-grade powder coating will ensure long-lasting resistance to salt, UV, and harsh environments—while delivering a premium look that blends into the boat’s original design.

4️⃣ Precision Installation Onboard

Final fitting and installation will take place directly onboard with exacting standards. Our team will ensure perfect integration, structural rigidity, water-tight interfaces, and minimal weight impact on sailing performance.

🎯 Expertise, Energy, and Integration

This project is a perfect example of how Canet Premium Services brings together technical marine engineering, bespoke equipment fabrication, and sustainable energy solutions for modern sailing yachts and catamarans. It highlights our commitment to quality, design coherence, and long-term cruising autonomy.

We’d like to thank our trusted partner ASM66 for their contribution to this forward-thinking initiative.
